Why GFXTOOY Needs Shizuku

To unlock advanced features in GFXTOOY like GPU optimization, resolution scaling, and system-level performance tweaks, your device needs Shizuku running first.

Starting from Android 11, Google restricted many system APIs that apps use to modify performance settings. Normally, accessing these APIs would require root. Shizuku solves this by acting as a bridge between Android's ADB layer and apps like GFXTOOY, allowing them to request higher permissions without rooting your phone.

Once Shizuku is running, GFXTOOY can safely apply deeper optimizations while your device remains completely stock.
