What's Inside?

GFX Packs

GFX Packs are PAK files downloaded from GFXTOOY's servers and installed directly into the game's Saved/Paks/ directory. Unreal Engine loads them automatically at startup — no patching, no root access needed. Each pack can be removed individually at any time.

CVARs Editor

The CVARs Editor writes settings directly to UserSettings.ini inside your game directory. You can tune sound quality (4 levels) and toggle water reflections on or off — changes take effect on next game launch. Works via Shizuku on Android 11+ or direct file access on Android 10 and below.

Available Packs & Tools

Black Sky Pack

Replaces the sky texture with a pure dark sky — enemies are easier to spot against the sky background and visual clutter is reduced

Potato Sky Pack

A lighter sky replacement between stock and Black Sky — a good balance of visibility improvement and visual quality

Ultra Sound Pack

Enhanced audio asset pack for sharper directional awareness — footsteps, gunshots, and vehicle sounds are cleaner and more distinct

CVARs Editor

Adjust sound quality and water reflections in UserSettings.ini without editing files manually — 4 sound quality levels + reflections toggle

How to Install a GFX Pack

1

Select Your Game Edition

On the GFXTOOY home screen, tap your installed PUBG Mobile edition:

  • Global (com.tencent.ig)
  • BGMI (com.pubg.imobile)
  • KR, VN, or TW editions
2

Choose a GFX Pack

In the GFX / FPS tab, find the pack section and pick your preferred pack — Black Sky, Potato Sky, or Ultra Sound. Each toggle shows the pack's file size before download.

3

Download the Pack

Confirm and the pack downloads in the background with a progress indicator. Download size varies by pack and game edition.

Packs are edition-specific — a pack for Global edition will not work on BGMI
4

Install to Game Directory

After download, GFXTOOY installs the PAK into the game's Saved/Paks/ directory:

  • Android 11+: Shizuku is used to move the file into the protected game directory
  • Android 10 and below: Direct file write — no Shizuku needed
5

Launch PUBG Mobile

Start the game. The Unreal Engine loads the PAK automatically — your sky replacement or audio enhancement is active immediately.

Done! To remove a pack, tap the delete button next to it in GFXTOOY

CVARs Editor
  • Set Sound Quality to Ultra for sharpest footstep detection
  • Turn water reflections Off on low-end devices for a small FPS gain
  • Reload CVARs after the game updates to confirm settings persisted
  • Shizuku must be running before applying CVARs on Android 11+

Frequently Asked Questions

Use at your own risk. GFX packs replace textures and audio using Unreal Engine's standard PAK loading — a client-side modification. GFXTOOY does not alter game executables or memory. However, as with any modification tool, there is always some risk. Play responsibly.
Only on Android 11+. Android 11 introduced stricter file access rules for the /Android/data/ directory where PUBG Mobile stores its files. Shizuku grants GFXTOOY the shell-level access needed to copy PAK files there. On Android 10 and below, packs install directly without Shizuku.
Yes, easily. Each installed pack has a delete button in GFXTOOY. Removing it deletes the PAK file from the game directory. The original game textures or audio are restored on the next launch — no leftover files.
It writes to UserSettings.ini. The CVARs editor modifies two settings in the game's INI configuration file:
  • SoundQualityType (0–3) under [SoundQuality] — controls audio processing level
  • WaterReflectionSetting (0 or 1) under [ArtQuality] — toggles water reflections
These are official game settings, just exposed through GFXTOOY's interface for convenience.
Usually not. PUBG Mobile updates often clear the Saved/Paks/ directory. After any game update, simply re-open GFXTOOY and re-apply your preferred pack — the download is fast since the server stores edition-specific builds.
