New Method: 120 FPS with Shizuku

GFXTOOY can now unlock 120 FPS for ALL devices using Shizuku!

1

Install Shizuku

Download and install Shizuku from the official website or GitHub

Get Shizuku

Shizuku version 12+ recommended

2

Start Shizuku

Launch Shizuku and start the service. You can use ADB wireless or wired method.

adb shell sh /sdcard/Android/data/moe.shizuku.privileged.api/start.sh

Make sure Shizuku is running — you'll see a "Shizuku is running" notification.

3

Open GFXTOOY

Launch GFXTOOY and grant Shizuku permissions when prompted.

Make sure: GFXTOOY detects the Shizuku service.

4

Select Game Edition

On the GFXTOOY home screen, tap your installed edition. The 120 FPS PAK is edition-specific:

  • BGMI — uses the BGMI server endpoint
  • Global, KR, VN, TW — uses the Global server endpoint
5

Enable Real 120 FPS

In the FPS tab, toggle the "Real 120 FPS" option. GFXTOOY sends your device model to the server and the server returns a device-specific PAK file.

The PAK is device-specific — the server picks the correct config for your chipset automatically.
6

PAK Downloads & Installs

GFXTOOY downloads the PAK file and installs it to the game's Saved/Paks/ directory:

  • Android 11+: Shizuku copies the file to the protected directory
  • Android 10 and below: Direct file write — no Shizuku needed for the install step
7

Launch Game & Enjoy

Start PUBG Mobile / BGMI. The Unreal Engine loads the PAK automatically at startup — 120 FPS is unlocked.

Re-apply the pack after any game update, as updates may clear the Paks directory.

What is 120 FPS?

120 FPS (Frames Per Second) means your game displays 120 individual images every second. This results in:

  • Smoother gameplay: Reduced motion blur and stuttering
  • Better responsiveness: Lower input lag for faster reactions
  • Competitive advantage: See enemies sooner and react faster
  • Enhanced visuals: More fluid animations and transitions

How the 120 FPS Unlock Works

Server PAK Delivery

GFXTOOY sends your device model to the server. The server returns a device-specific PAK file that enables 120 FPS for your chipset.

PAK Installation

The PAK file is placed in the game's Saved/Paks/ directory. Shizuku is used on Android 11+ to access the protected path.

Engine-Level Unlock

Unreal Engine loads the PAK at game startup. The 120 FPS cap is removed at engine level — no memory patching or hacks involved.

No! This method works on ANY Android device, regardless of display refresh rate. Even 60Hz displays will benefit from reduced input lag and smoother gameplay. However, to see the full 120 FPS visual smoothness, you need a 120Hz+ display.
Try these solutions:
  • Lower graphics settings in-game
  • Enable "Performance Mode" instead of "Extreme"
  • Use a cooling fan or cooler
  • Play in an air-conditioned environment
  • Take breaks every 30–45 minutes
Common solutions:
  1. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled

  4. Update Shizuku to the latest version
  5. Check Shizuku documentation for troubleshooting
Yes, 120 FPS uses more battery than 60 FPS. Expect 40–50% faster battery drain. We recommend:
  • Use a power bank for long sessions
  • Lower screen brightness to 50–70%
  • Disable unnecessary features (Bluetooth, GPS)
  • Use battery saver mode when not gaming
